Churches Together In St Albans

MBFC were pleased to host the Churches Together In St Albans Autumn Forum. Mike Berners-Lee was going to talk about his book 'There Is No Planet B.' but was asked to address the World Pension Summit in the Hague. Fortunately Tom Hill, a Senior Environmental Economist from the IPPR Progressive Policy Think Tank, stepped up and took us through the contents of 'There Is No Planet B' interjected with some of his own work. The evening was both informative and thought provoking and I think everyone left realising that climate change is real and we have to act at individual, commercial and governmental levels to reduce the exponential temperature rise the planet is experiencing.
