The constitution is the legal document which defines how we run the church. The covenant and church rules are the set of rules that govern our behaviour which the membership have agreed on.
We acknowledge the gift of God’s saving grace freely given to us through the death and resurrection of His Son Jesus Christ. Therefore, we covenant with Him and with each other to worship and serve Him in and through the life of Marshalswick Baptist Free Church.
We recognise our responsibility to commit ourselves to
• living lives of obedience in worship
• the study of His word
• prayer
• the giving of ourselves and our resources
so that people of all ages will meet God through our life together.
We seek to be led by the Holy Spirit as we
• grow in faith
• worship with thanksgiving
• serve with love
• work together in unity
• reach out together in the building of His kingdom in our lives, our community and in His world through the life and witness of this church.
