Our church is committed to looking outwards into all the world, ever mindful of Jesus command to feed the hungry and clothe the naked. We therefore support organisations and individuals who seek to show God’s love in practical ways by providing prayer support, finance and practical support.
In 2014 over £14,000 was passed on to mission agencies working internationally and locally.
BMS Home Mission through
direct giving, fund raising events, The Birthday Scheme and Coffee with a
Cause. Our Link Missionary is Sarah
McArthur who is a plant propagator helping people in the Upper Amazon to
develop sustainable farming.
Christian Aid through fundraising events and the support of Christian Aid Week events such as the Christian Aid market arranged by Churches together in Marshalswick

Britain, supporting mission
opportunities through Baptist Churches across England and Wales.
Feed Food Bank at
the Vineyard Church St Albans through
the regular donation of food and other items week by week by the congregation. FEED have a closed group on Facebook if you want to join and see what their current requirements are.
2:67 Youth Work Project supporting Christian Youth Work in the St Albans area through direct giving.
STEP (St Albans and Harpenden Education Project) bringing a Christian perspective to RS lessons in local schools through the contribution of volunteer teaching time.
St Albans Sleepout Our young people take part in the annual sleep out raising money for those working with the Homeless.
